Carol Mattos offers a bewitching experience with cosmic synths, industrial machinery sounds and intense dark beats. She seeks her references in 80’s synth pop, dark wave and disco, detroit acid and many of the new Latin American productions. With strong kicks and heavy basslines combined with groovy elements and futuristic sounds she creates an immersive atmosphere that engage the dance floor in a cosmic journey.

Carol started in the electronic independent scene with MASTERp la n o collective, at Belo Horizonte, Brazil, that produces parties with the goal to rediscover the city and question its restrictive functionalism. They also promote encounters and workshops to discuss and produce from questionings that surpass the festive experience, such as diversity, gender, sexuality and territory.

In 2016 she became resident DJ at MAMBA NEGRA and also started Sintetica, a party that aims to create space and create visibility to women who operate in different fields in the electronic music scene. The party crew is entirely constituted by women and non binary.

Carol has been at the DGTL festival in Brazil, Boiler Room Festival, MECA Festival, two editions of Kubik, at Minitel, in Madrid, and at Ubris, at Côte d’Ivoire, in Africa. In 2019 she recorded two Boiler Room's - one at Mamba Negra, in São Paulo, and another in London, at the Boiler Room Festival. Resident in São Paulo, she has been in some of the main parties and clubs of the brazilian electronic scene in 15 different cities, like Capslock, ODD (São Paulo), CAOS (Campinas), Deputamadre Club (Belo Horizonte), Vapor (Brasilia), MOO (Rio de Janeiro), Plano (Porto Alegre), Sweetuf Records (Curitiba).
